The Mid West Academy of Sport (MWAS) is one of the many WA sporting organisations that could benefit from an increased fundraising support from the community. Swimming great Mark Stockwell in a recent article in the West Australian (https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/wa/a/31087098/wa-sport-faces-funding-hurdles/) highlighted the relatively low level of donations to sport in WA occurring through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF). MWAS is registered with the ASF and contributions made that will benefit MWAS are tax deductible.

“We are always looking for new fundraising partners and donors to help us to continue our quest to support talented young sportspeople, coaches and officials in the Mid West” said MWAS CEO Martin FitzSimons “Individuals or organisations can receive the tax benefit by contributing through the ASX”.
