June 1, 2016MWAS and Nagle host fun time back at school
MWAS was proud to partner with Nagle Catholic College to entertain the local business community at a Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MWCCI) business after hours function recently. The synergy between MWAS and Nagle in both striving to help young people develop into good citizens was evident in the speeches given by Nagle principal Rob Crothers and MWAS CEO Martin FitzSimons. FitzSimons noted, “The young people we both work with have so much to offer the community and it is a pleasure to help them develop as leaders and citizens”. The evening was abuzz with activity with dance practice going on and a climbing wall demonstration while a very accomplished musician entertained the crowd on the electric guitar.
“As a young organisation MWAS needs the support of the community if we are to continue to realise our brief to help young Mid West athletes to realise their goals in life and sport” commented FitzSimons.
