The Midwest Football Development Program (MWFDP) is seeking applications for a development coach of our under 16 team. In partnership with the East Fremantle Football Club and the Mid West Academy of Sport the MWFDP has been designed to assist athletes and coaches reach their full potential in a professional and challenging environment and will be delivered in accordance with the established talent pathways in the Mid West Region and through to the East Fremantle WAFL system. The primary focus of this program is the development of players in the local club based football systems and to enhance football in this region. Players and coaches from the MWFDP will be chosen to participate in development carnival teams such as the Sharkpack and MWAS Scholarship Development Coaches will fill key roles in these teams. The schedule for this under 16 team will be a six week training program commencing on Monday 17th August 2020 followed by a carnival in Perth during the October school holidays against other development programs.

- You must possess a current Level 1 Coaching accreditation
- Current Working with Children Check
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have a proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

These positions will not be remunerated but the successful applicants will have personal and professional development opportunities provided through Coaching Scholarships with the Midwest Academy of Sport.
